My journey into the world of organizations began in February, 1996, when Annette Simmons and Cheryl DeChiantis heard me at a storytelling festival. They convinced me that people in the organizational worlds wanted my skills in telling, teaching, and coaching.

In the next years, I taught storytelling and coaching to staff and clients at the Center for Creative Leadership (Greensboro, NC, Belgium, Switzerland, and elsewhere); for legal and healthcare organizations; and to top executives of firms large and small, from corporate travel agencies to multinational oil companies.
